Joey
A graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, Joey received his Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance in 1996. He has studied classical saxophone with Harvey Pittel and jazz saxophone with Richard Lawn. His professional playing experience is extensive and he has played countless club dates, playing jazz, swing, and rock. He has performed with The Nova Saxophone Quartet, The Austin Symphony, The Austin Lyric Opera, Kenny Rogers, Dick Dale, Anna Cani, Julie Budd, The Temptations, Tommy Tune, The Guy Lombardo Orchestra, Donald Sinta, The Tony Campise Big Band, and the Unites States Air Education Training and Command Band (Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio). He also plays for the band ensembles at several of the theater companies in Austin - Zachary Scott Theater, Austin Musical Theater, The University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance, and Zilker Park Summer Musical. Familiar with the orchestra pit, he can double on flute and clarinet as well. Currently Joey is teaching applied saxophone at Prairie View A&M University.

Rick
While earning his undergraduate degree in Jazz Studies at The University of Texas @ Austin, Rick performed and recorded with many jazz notables, including Michael Brecker. As a professional musician he has recorded and toured extensively with the Legends of Las Vegas as well as Grammy Award winning Little Joe y La Familia. When he is not performing with the Atlantics, he leads the Monster Big Band, an eighteen piece jazz ensemble.
