Evan has been a fixture on the Austin music scene for 20 years. Comfortable with both upright and electric bass helps keep Evan busy playing Jazz, Funk, Blues and Rock with some of Austin's finest talent. Evan has performed, recorded or toured with the Late Sonny Bono, Mickey Gilley, Freddy Fender, Earl King, Marvin Stamm, Robert Goulet and many more notable stars.
Mike Canales is a 2001 graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. A San Antonio native, he has been working professionally since age seven. At age 15, he started working as a free lance drummer doing jazz and pop gigs. Since his graduation from Berklee, Mike toured with the German Band, The Alpine Express, and has numerous San Antonio bands. In addition to working with the Atlantics, he currently performs with Groove Alert at Dick's Last Resort on the Riverwalk in San Antonio and fronts his own group, Versatile Band, a three piece band which does everything from oldies to rap.
